ABOUT
Elana Roth is a Brooklyn-based creative type, specifically of the word variety.
Once upon a time, she fell in love with creating fun content for children by sheer dumb luck with an internship at Nickelodeon Magazine. Books followed when she began working at Parachute Publishing, where she spent nearly 5 years learning the ropes on series for kids of all ages (and that includes some adults). Now she has a dual identity of book person and web person, working both as a literary agent for children's books, and a copywriter at Squarespace.
Educationally, Elana is a graduate of Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she earned degrees in English literature and Bible. Surprisingly, it's that second degree which comes more in handy when trying to make conversation at cocktail parties.
